O2 Sensor Replacement Frequency???

Was looking for some more forum wisdom (opinions). I guess conventional wisdom would suggest "if it's not broken, don't fix it". But then I've also read that O2 sensors can degrade, and although not faulty, may affect performance. I've even read that they should be replaced as normal maintenance.

As I'm about to replace one faulty [front] sensor, I'm wondering if I should go ahead and replace the other.

What say you?

C'mon folks...26 views and no opinions?! Certainly with the experience base out there, someone has some advise.
