Low or high silicon forging? Standard or extreme duty design?


And in case anyone else is wondering the pistons are about .020" overbore.

 

out of everything u just asked the silicone and design is the only thing i did not mention.......compression ratio is 8.5 to 1 as stated under compression
over bore is stated as well, so obviously it is overbore. now as for the others: they are manufactured from 4032 aluminum alloy (high silicone), and not sure about design they were custom made for this engine and r capable of holding up to supercharged, turbocharged, and sprayed engines so would assume they r extreme.

 

I noticed the compression ratio after i posted and edited...i just mentioned the overbore because not everyone knows the stock bore is 95.5mm.


And the extreme duty design has thicker ring lands, uses buttons instead of locks, uses a zero silicon forging etc. so i guess these are the standard duty. Just wanted to clarify for prospective buyers. Good luck on the sale.

i'm sure they do, but that's a total rebuild. i think a lot of people would just put a thicker head gasket on and call it a day
