one of the locals had a 2000 maxima with a full frankencar catback. the dude traded the car into a local mitsubishi for a new eclipse with the bloody catback, along with tien ss coilovers and other good parts still installed on his old max.

Yeah I listened to it, but I believe it was on an Altima. Sounded good. I'm sure its better in person though.

some people like it quiet. I love the sound of the cattman, but with headers/ypipe it does drone on the highway, while the FC is just a bit louder than stock...

Thats true. I just didn't like the build quality of the frankencar for the price they were selling them at. Maybe i received the bad apple out of the batch.

I can name numerous things i didn't like about it, but to each their own

sorry to jack the thread, but is the stock muffler with the headers really that much quieter? I love the sound of my cattman catback with headers, but like most its a little louder than I'd like between around 65mph and 80mph? Sorry I'm converting from kmh so those numbers might be off a bit. I kept the stocker but haven't tried it out yet

Muffler is too heavy, Muffler tips need to be longer (exhaust looks like the muffler is too short), Better welding job (my exhaust cracked on me in several spots due to poor welds)

The only thing i liked about the exhaust was the re-sale value when i sold it, since it is discontinued. Sold it almost for full retail value.

Yep to me and I havn't regret buying it for that price at all. I had a buddy of mine reweld the spots as he knew how to weld.
