this is a project that didn't happen, i've got all 3 pieces, i also have a 3" adapter machined out of aluminum that can be welded in place of the curved neck. make an offer.

Wow... I can see your stay here is going to be short.

The mods are going to tell you to post up an asking price. What all is needed to make this work? What kind of power gains are seen? Is this for the 3.5 or the 3.0. Just a couple of questions that might help your sale.

These will fit the 3.5, i think the 3.0 too. all you have to do is swap ur lower intake manifold with the 350z manifold, reweld neck with a straight pipe and make a throttle body plate to weld on to the new neck. I have this done to my 02 and havent dyno'd gains but i felt power in the lower and mid power band

thanks, that explains pretty much everithing. I've done this for a 3.5 once (not on my car), don't know if this can be done to a 3.0 (most likely not).
As for why the project didn't go through... i'm still considering it, it's just that right now i really am not sure of this car's future.

 

yes, when a straight neck is welded on. why not just research/read about it, it's been done a number of times.

O yea and also if someone is going to do this you need all six of those bolts on top of the plenum, gasket for lower manifold and a gasket between the lower and upper plenum

nmexmax: i read some where that revup plenums dont work well(lose power or somethin like that) with non revup motors

 

sumone needs to do a dyno comparison between this IM and the regualr maxima IM with the shelf cut out... unless its already been donnneeee????
