WTB: 2000 maxima factory BOSE Subwoofer

My subwoofer has gone kaput and I need a new one to return the sound to the way it was. I am not keen on adding the weight of aftermarket subwoofers(mpg suffers) so I would just like a replacement for my stock bose subwoofer. It would be great if someone in CA had it(hopefully local to L.A), but I am willing to buy it shipped from somewhere else as long as the price is right(not meant to lowball anyone, but I don't like getting cheated either just because I need it).

i haven't noticed a difference in mpg with my system. weighs about 60 lbs. i think you're exaggerating just a tad.

Just go for an amp with a free-air replacement... Adds maybe 5-10 pounds at the most.

Just to clarify, you need just the sub, right? No amp?

yup, as far as I know that is all I will need. When I tap or hit the sub itself it comes on for a sec then cuts off, so I assume it is just the sub(with that black round plastic thing below it, i think it is the subs attached amp)

that may be because you already accelerate heavily, which will most likely not show much change in your car. If you are like me, even a half on an mpg is a loss that I do not want. Every MPG counts on my limited budget.

Ah, then you want the sub and the amp... The amp is that round black plastic circle under the sub. Have you tried to see if removing the in-line crossover (or whatever it's really called) will fix your problem? I had the same problem and removed that. Here's a photo of what I'm talking about:
