Up for Sale a 6speed Transmission. came out of an 03, and has about 83k on it. Shifts smooth as I felt it in a friends car. Not going to do the 6speed swap anymore. In great shape, shifts fine. $975 shipped to your door. I dont have the linkages or those other components. Its an Open Diff.... If you need one with an LSD let me know a buddy might be letting his go soon, but i'll make a thread for that should that happen.

deciding against it. still need other parts for the swap that I dont have patience for. I'll go 6speed when I get a g35c later this year so I dont need to mod this car more and it will become either a project car or get sold off cheap when the g comes later in the yearOriginally Posted by One Post Wonder

Do you have the timing ring that goes with the swap? I'd be interested in the tranny if you do. I have also been trying to source parts for the 6 speed swap but the timing ring thing is holding me back.
wish I had it...the timing ring was a big issue for me and I decided against it after searching and trying a lot to get it, or get it made right!

Also, if anybody could help me out with this, what else is needed to swap it in with a 2001 Max SE VQ30DE that has a 5MT? Any extra parts needed?
timing ring is what the crank sensor reads and is important in your car starting and everything firing in the proper order.
its a big issue as the specs of a stock 5.5th/6th gen 6speed flywheel is out of spec of what the 4th gen crank position sensor reads. so a modified one is needed, plus someone to do it is another thing.
NWP might jump on this if there is enough interest

Is there any issue with swapping into a 5th gen? I got a 2001 SE (Not AE)
