When you say the gasket on the filter needs to be replaced, what is that exactly?

Might be a dumb question but I had a Berk intake a while ago and I kind of want to go short ram again but I don't remember there being any gaskets in the one I had.

I'll call and ask Apexi tomorrow to see if it's really needed. All it was was a blue paper gasket.

One coupler looks thick and sturdy and the other two thin??
And isnt there supposed to be a bracket to keep the intake from sagging??

Not trying to flame a fellow maxima owner, just wonderin.

Very good for sale ad though i wish there more like this in the classifieds.

My kit never came with the bracket but I never had any sagging issues due to other parts surrounding underneath the intake that held it up.

One coupler is thicker then the rest.

And thanks for the compliment on the post. I definitely agree, classifieds should be more informative and not half assed like many today.

I can't believe I haven't sold this yet. The filter is immaculate and the intake pipe still looks great!

I guess not much people are in the market for one compared how it use to be when the 5gen was just released

bump....

Would trade locals for
- good condition/rust free Grey Lustre Hood. Not looking for any other colored hood.
- D/s spindle with good condition wheel bearing. plus some cash on top.
