FS: 2002-2003 HID headlights w/ DDE Angel Eyes + Security brackets
Hey guys,
I have parted with my 2000 Maxima SE years ago and removed my mods. Sold them all except for my 5.5gen Headlight housings, cleared-signal light (not amber), ballasts, bulbs and all wiring with DDE Angel eyes (Umnitza) and the headlight security brackets. For those who don't know, the brackets were due to theft of the ballasts on 5th Gens a long time ago. So Nissan responded with security brackets that bolt underneath the headlight housing and the chassis. of course, you'll need to remove your front bumper to get this done correctly.
Headlights do not have water ingress, no foggy issues, they were also sealed with extra silicon over the original seals as an extra precaution. one of the headlights had broken tabs, but it's been repaired using Plastifix (plastifix by USC, do a google). So tab is even stronger than original tab. The fit is perfect in the Maxima.
If you own a 2000-2001 5th Gen, they fit just fine. You do need to buy your own headlight clips for the 5.5 Gen from the dealership yourself. Don't ask for the P/N, i haven't the faintest idea.
Everything is supplied except a switch (a single throw) 12v which you can buy at Radio Shack/electronic parts stores. You can wire through the firewall to a dash mounted switch to turn on or off the DDE's.
I'm located in Vancouver BC, but could ship out from Washington state for US buyers (save you the extra cost of shipping). I'm heading to the US in about 2 weeks, so for those interested in the U.S. I have to give you an approx shipping cost by USPS.
Please no lowball on pricing, serious buyers please.
Asking $300 + shipping paid by buyer.
