In need of an 01 Ecu computer

The computer in my 01 Se 5 speed just shorted out and as it turns out no junkyards in the area have any computers I've tried over 10 yards and Apperently they sell them all to an online company as soon as the cars are towed in. Anyone looking to sell me one?

I've got one for sale on eBay from a 2001 anniversary edition with a 5 speed vlsd.

Does the computer have to be reprogrammed by nissan or can my mechanic just put this in?

Depends on local dealership rates, probably charge an hour, my nissan dealer is $110 an hour. Ecm should work fine, the vlsd has no bearing on the computer, it's mechanical.

Awesome. I'm gonna buy it tomorrow. Just for the chance that it does not work with my car do you accept return if not damaged and shipping is paid for?

Yes, I got a 14 day return policy. You must fix the issue that burned out your original computer, I think it's the IAC that goes bad that causes the ecm to short. Make sure you fix that before installing a new ecm. Thanks.
