03 xenon to 01 headlight swap

I would like to grab a set of 03 headlamp assembly's and put them on my 01. Just curious as to what modifications will need to be done, if any. Before I purchase the new headlamps need to know if I should be grabbing any other misc. parts for the swap.

Get all bulbs and harnesses. You'll need them.

I did it on my wife's car not too long ago. Ended up putting spade connectors on the car side harness and plugging in to the headlight. Needed wiring diagrams for 01 and 03 to compare the two (red goes to blue, etc.). Wasn't too hard once I found the diagrams.

Thanks. I can definitely handle a bit of harness modification.

If you have the headlamps you only need the wire harness, that's all, there should be a writeup around here in whatntondo and what cables to cut.

I'm not up for practice runs. There is no pressure to get it right which makes failure more likely. And if I do end up screwing up anyway - life's lessons are leaned best when consequences are harsh!
