i have a 2k1 gxe, and in the trunk on the underside of the trunk lid there is a gray liner. well i don't have one. i noticed that other people have them on different models(se).

is anyone else missing this liner on a gxe???

That might be part of the SE package...I'm not sure tho...My SE has it ...dats all I know...

 

I don't have it.. have base GXE

 

I remember that in 2001 the trunk liner was part of the Meridian package. Perhaps for 2002 it became more of a standard feature on more cars.

 

liner is meridian pkg. and they price it pretty high as I recall. Time for a call to Super Dave®

All I can get is the trunk liners with the insulation glued to it. As far as I know, the material is not available in bulk. The 5th gen trunk mats are about $160!

 

And I almost cut that thing!!!!!!!!!

Man I need to find a 2K2 donor in a junk yard. I could part it out for a small fortune.

Did some snoopin' in the warehouse, the '98-'01 Altima trunk mat is like a big roll of that black material- and only about $20!

That brings up an interesting question. What other options could you loot from a 2K2 rental car? Would anyone notice if I did an HID swap-a-roo??

 

Interesting. According to the parts catalog, ALL '02s have it. I hadn't noticed that before!

 

yup im in a GXE with the comfort and convience pkg and i dont have the liner but ive got a friend with a SE and thevy got it
