Who has the most HP with their 2k2?

Just curious who on the ORG has the most HP in their 2k2 and what they've done to accomplish their numbers?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 2k2 6spd should expect to have a stock baseline around 207hp, 225tq?

I think there is a 2k2 on "juice" putting something like ~320fwhp!

I saw his post a few weeks back. I'll try to find a link to his post.

SR20DEN also ran....

13.315 @ 108.31 06/21/02
13.536 @ 110.27 07/05/02

I'm betting he'll break into the 12's though, once he dials in everything and it cools off again.

Do you know when he sprays? 2nd? 3rd? RPM?

Does he have the RPM window switch setup?

How are you getting 250? - if you don't mind

I've currently got a PR CAI, and I'm supposed to get on a dyno this week... I'm a tester for Warpspeeds Y-Pipe, which should be arriving next week, and not sure what mods should follow to get the best numbers. Was thinking high-flow cat (or no cat) w/ custom 2.5" b-pipe - maybe keep the stock rear section.

make sure you dyno with the CAI by itself BEFORE you dyno the CAI and y-pipe. we all want to see what the y-pipe gets individually.

That is my plan. I didn't get a stock baseline, hence my post above questioning what the typical stock plots are. After getting the y-pipe on (if I ever actually get it), I'll be putting a few hundred miles on before getting back on the dyno.

I should be at about 220 FWHP right now(I did 215 last time). Then I am going to add a fed spec rear header, stillen Y-pipe and UR UDP. Then in a few months when the Z comes out I am going to try to swap the manifold onto my car and then possibly the Z's ECU. If this all works out I should be close to 250 FWHP NA. My luck I will hit 249 HP

Pardon my stupidity - but where would I find info on this fed-spec rear header? Google isn't turning up much.

Scroll down to "Desert Pearl's exhaust manifold conversion (Cali-spec to Fed-spec)" and DesertPearls website:

Hehe, you have one allready . I am just using a header off of a 2000 maxima. I am doing this in order to fit a 2000 stillen Y-pipe onto my 2002.

Yep . I while back I had a thread on it. The 2002 gaskets match up with 2000 ones perfectly. I just ordeed a stillen Y-pipe and I have the gaskets and header on and hand.

Nice, let us know how it goes. I bet the rear header is going to be a b*tch to get off right?

You bet! It is going to be a PITA to get off. I am going to remove my intake manifold and then the bolts won't be quite as hard to get too. Luckly my car is new so the bolts won't be rusted out.

How can there be so much difference between the advertised 255 HP and the numbers that are posted here WITH performance mods? I know 255 HP at the block is not 255 HP at the wheels, but there shouldn't be that much of a drop. Is 255 HP simply overstated, or am I missing somthing.

manual transmission cars usually have around a 15-18% loss through the drivetrain. apparently the 6-speed maxima is showing something more like a 19% loss. it may not be about the HP being understated. the new 6-speed transmission could just be inefficient.

If your car pulls strong until around 4000+, you may have a problem with VIAS. There is thread here where a boosted max was having a hard time proving it to nissan.

Hogan trouble shot it by listening to a sound it made when the runners changed somewhere 4000 - 5500 rpm
