Berk Intake Removed - Stock Airbox Installed

The reason for doing this is to go to the dealership & complete both RECALLS. I don't want them giving me shiat for the Mod.

Anyway, let me tell you that the car feels WEAK now without the BERK. Yes the wheels will spin a little easier now off the line, but when the car revs past 3000RPM, it doesn't pull as hard as it did with the BERK on & it doesn't scream it's way to REDLINE. It slowly approaches REDLINE, where the BERK really makes it scream at high-end.

I also reset the MPG computer & it seems that my MPG is terrible now! I've never seen 17MPG on that indicator... and now I do! (of course I am flooring it to test it

but c'mnon, it's still bad) And today was a mild day with temp @ 75deg.

Sooooo... anyone that says the stock Airbox is better than the BERK INTAKE must like Crack more than I do...

Man I can't wait to see the midpipe arrive at my door!

Also.... forgot to mention that the BERK makes the wheels spin in 2nd gear also!

hmm

does the berk intake work on the 2001? what about the midpipe, whats that, and does it fit on the 2001? is there a website or list where i can see these products?

Yeah, 2k1s also supported. Website: BERK TUNING

The midpipe replaces that accordion-type thingy on your intake with a less-restrictive straitpipe. The first batch is being developed as we speak. Also, here is the SALE THREAD for more info.
