starting problem

well i have recently posted on a problem starting the car...takes a few turns before it starts...i am happy to report that i have recently tried a different brand gas (texaco) and it has worked...so far, my starts have been quick and smooth

Awesome... Same thing here, the prob. just went away as soon as I switched brands...

A few quick questions out of curiosity
->did the problem go away completely, or just get better?
->what kind of gas were you using before?
->did you notice any improvement in performance?

it seemed to go away completely, but i just filled up yesterday (have started about 10 times since then

i was using aarco 92 octane and switched to texaco 92

didn't really notice any improvement in performance

i recently (about 5 tanks ago) switched from 87 to 92 octane

tssk. tssk... shouldn't have been using 87 octane in the first place :-) !!!

blah blah blah...i know i know...now i'll need to start up w/ a different type of oil...still deciding between normal 5w30 and 5w30 synthetic
