2k2 hlsd vs regular 2k2

I dont know if this has been asked but how much difference in performance will there be. I have a regular 2k2 6 speed, and want to know what the difference would be in the 1/4. Any of yall have time slips.

I really think that any straight line performance difference between the two would be negligible. HLSD would be more useful during hard corning where the inside tire would lose traction and it would send the power to the outside tire.

a lot of people seem to think that a car should be aided on the launch by an LSD. i can't say that i disagree with that theory but there isnt really any proof to back it up.

It may help a little, but as the name suggests, its a limited slip, not a no slip diff. Regardless, if you launch too high you are still gonna get the peg leg burnout (one tire spinning).

when i have my wheel straight and i do a burnout both tires smoke like crazy. when i turn the wheel thats when my open differential kills me. inside tire will spin. on a 1/4 strip it will not make a difference IMO. prove me wrong and i will be a believer!

will
