i have heard from a few of my friends about the high flow air intake system. they tell me that it increases hp. by 20, and torque as well by some odd number.. i am wondering of this is true for i am thinking of installing this intake into my 2k gle. i am hoping this is true for i do not want to have to buy a supercharger for that costs to much money at the moment... i want to increase my hp. but i dont want to spend too much money on it.. not until i can make a few more bucks..

 

More like 10 hp if you're lucky....

 

um.. some cars u can get that type of hp for an intake.. but not the max.. theres not that much of a diffrence in hp on mine.. but i think that u get like 4 to 5 extra hps.. thats when your car gets used to the new intake... but its sound real nice!

I dont think even the CAI can give 20HPs in the Max, and they are supposely the intake with the most gains. You will realize about a 4-5 HP gain with an open element filter
ex: stillen, akimoto.... They are all same in design.
I can tell you though, the sound it makes gives u the feeling that you are going faster!!!!

Intake and y-pipe together on a 5 speed is worth 12 hp to the wheels or about 14 to the crank. Less to the wheels in an auto. But well worth the cost.
