My 2000 Maxima is Standard and it is stock.

The Monte Carlo is automatic and is not the SS.

 

Well, it kind of depends. If you are the absolute worst driver on the planet, miss every gear, remove two of your spark plugs and stuff a banana in your tailpipe, there is a slight chance you will lose.

This race should not even be close. You are comparing apples to oranges.

had an opportunity to race and beat a newer MonteCarlo.

 

Its like racing a Geo metro.

the 3.4, like the 3.1, only has spunk in 1st gear.

Luanch in second gear like normal, you'll still beat him
