I am fairly new at this carclub/whatever. My "ses" light continues to turn on, it appears that after an oil change or carwash that catches the undercarriage it happens. Last two occurences were on a trip to Cali and a trip to New Mexico about 3/4 of the way to each place. I am wondering if it is a change of elevation? Gas was the same from Phoenix AZ. On another note what is the deal on the harness near the oil filter, talk about a bad location.

 

Only way to tell, it to take it to the dealer. It could be a circut being grounded somehow, or moisture affecting a sensor.
