When I have the wheels turned all the way to the right and then turn the wheel back towards the left- it makes a clunking noise.

Does anyone know what this is and if it always happened?

That sounds like a problem to me! Don't quote me though, but on my civic I had that problem it was my CV joints. The boot that is suppose to cover the joint was torn and it lacked the lubrication needed. My machanic said that was from burning out on turns? I didn't belive him though. You can check that? Are you from hawaii?

Do you remember what they said about it?
I'll bring it in for an oil change now if they can fix it, but what should I ask for? Maybe if you can remember what they said I could ask 4 it....

Thanks dude... waitin for ur reply... I gotta drive 500 miles up north on Friday and want this taken care of...

I had the problem before on my old car. Gotta get that CV boot fixed before the axle freezes! What it is is that the CV boot broke and the axle greese which keeps the axle joint lubricated is flying out. By the way, are you from Hawaii? I'm from hawaii

yeah same thing happened to me w/ eibachs...don't tell the dealership you have the eibachs...mine didn't seem to notice...they probably wouldn't fix it if they knew about that...i'm not sure what to tell them since i'm not sure what my dealership did...i'd say that you should just tell them the problem and tell them you need new rubber pieces and it needs to be lubricated

Recently i went to get my car serviced because of a terrible noise coming from the front. It was because the turn
stops had rubbed off. They are made of plastic. The service department people told me that it was from having the
turned all the way too much. Something all of you can look forward to.

uh yeah... i only went to high school in hawaii

Small school on the big island... for four years... I lived on campus... pretty cool

Wish I could drive my max on the big island... great freeway where passing is allowed... Queen K freeway from Hapuna beach to Kona.

Not like California with dividers the whole way!
