Sprint or Progress springs?

Which should I get with KYB's? I have searched and searched. No one seems to have Sprint.

Here is what I want.

1. Low, even drop.
2. No knocking noise
3. Relatively smooth ride- although I am willing to sacrifice it a bit for a clean drop.

Sprints are a 2" drop all the way around available at Southwest Autoworks for $129 plus tax.

Progress are available through Cattman for $135 plus shipping.

Which one should I get? I'm leaning towards Sprint.

Progress
www.pmpdesigns.com has them for cheaper I think. You just have to call because I don't think they are listed on the site. They used to be, but they were listed as 95-99 but they do fit 5th gens perfectly. Same springs.

Re: Sprint or Progress springs?

you want something that the front drops more than the rear....after they installed my eibach...I noticed the front gap is bigger than the rear....after a week, the weight just press down the front and now they look even. If u get the same drop for all 4....I dunno if the rear will look lowered than the front.

I think some 4th gens use sprint.....ask around.

my eibachs don't sit evenly......maybe it's because of the system....ALSO ASU.....why don't you keep your ground controls and get tokicos or something....OR do ground controls suck that bad?

No they don't suck. But they don't work with KYBs, that's for sure.

For what its worth I have Progress springs on the way.. Much better experience with Progress than Sprints in my past cars..

Does everyone install new struts in the Max when installing lowering springs? That seems to be the general consensus..

With the Kyb's being on backorder now..What does everyone else do? Get the Tokico adjustables from 4th gen and get the new upper strut mounts to put them into the 5th gens ?

Hope I can get this all straightened out soon as I will be installing springs into my 03 here very shortly !

Call Cattman. I got mine last week.

Man, I'm torn. Progress sounds like they have a better track record, but Sprint has the drop I want...I think.

Could I ask what made you narrow it down to Progress vs. Sprint? Was it price, ride quality, " of drop, etc...? I'm trying to decide on a spring/shock combo too. If you do get some springs, what are you gonna do with the GC's?

I want a clean drop. Progress is 1.75"F, 1.5"R. Sprint is 2" F&R. I hate the wheel gap. HATE IT!!!

I will probably be selling my GC's and Stillen camber kit on ebay. I'd rather have the market dictate how much they are worth versus coming up with a price on my own. I don't even know how much the GC's cost brand new......
