Street Scenes Grill and Valence

Ive got the stillen aero kit on my car and i was wondering if the street scenes lower valence that custom maxima.com sells will fit on my car with the stillen front spoiler on. I just have the normal front spoiler, not the touring one. thanx...

No offense, but this EXACT question was asked last week. I have the grilles and I can tell you for sure you will be alright with the Aero kit, you would still be fine even with the touring lip. The lower valence sits in the valence and sits pretty deep in there.

The depth of the valence depends on which way you install it. I put mine in upside down which makes it stick out an extra inch or two and it still looks great.

dixit sweety....what the heck did you use to stick the emblem on the grill???

I used double stick tape (heavy duty gray stuff) and I noticed sunday when washing that it was lifting so I took it off

it looks fine off from a distance but CLOSE UP you can see all the dang tape they left on the stock grill and didnt take off (ggrrrrrrrr) so I HAVE to put it back on........but with what??

I'm glad that I was the one to pull it off instead of someone else doing it for me!!!

I installed my aero front lip a few weeks ago. I put back my lower valence grill with no problems. You should be fine with this setup..

Hey girl, I used the same thing. I used double stick tape. The kind I have is really visicious. I mean it is like the 3m glue on the back of the dash kits. Once it is stuck it wont move. The difference in the tape I have is that it does not have any padding. Most of the double stick tapes are foam based and have padding. I find most of them fall apart in hot weather and water.

The bottom is easy, 10min job.

The top is harder. You are supposed to actually cut out the OEM grille and install this one in place. But you have to be careful cause if you just start cutting the grille out, you will end up cutting all the screw mount points. The directions dont tell you that you need to cut AROUND them.

In my case, I did not cut out the OEM grille, I found a way to get it on top of the other one by cutting the SS grille to make it clear. You will know what I am talking about when you put it up to it and you will see where it is being held up from going in further.

But eithercase, you WILL have to drop the front bumper.

Unfortunately, I did not buy it, my friend had it at his place when we did the install. I think or know it is available at Home Depot.

Remember the key when looking for it, it almost looks like a masking tape roll, it is almost that thing. But very visicious in sticking power.
