Would I be insane if......

I got the following suspension drop?

Sprint Springs Front- 2 inch drop
Progress Springs Rear- 1.5 drop

According to my recent survey, there seems to be a .5" difference between front and rear.

This would make the car's suspension go from:

Stock:
Front: 27.75" (off the ground)
Rear: 27.25"

My custom suspension:
Front: 25.75"
Rear: 25.75"

It would cost me $260 total for both sets of springs. Also, I am guessing that someone on the .org would want to buy ONLY the Progress front ends to go with their stock rear springs.

My question is why? You already have the GC, all you need is struts. You will loose the adjustability if you go to the straight spring set up.

I just installed the KYB AGX's and they don't work with Ground Controls. They are clunking like *****. I MUST go with a standard spring.

IMO, I am against mixing two barnds of spring with two different spring rate. But since u have adjustable shocks and Deven had tried it withe eibach and progress....it should be ok.

260 for 2 sets of springs is cheap...and since u have two sets...u know if the combo goes wrong...u can just switch back to any one of them.

good luck

Clunking meaning they are bottoming out?

Bottoming out like crazy. I had to raise up both the front and the rear because it sounded like a bomb going off in my wheelwells.

Also, over bumps it is like a rattling clunking- like something is loose. I had everything double checked and everything looks perfect. The combo just does not work together.
