Offset ? To all that have aftermarket wheels..

Hey.
Whats offset on the stock 5th gen wheels?
When you bought aftermarket wheels, what was the offset of those? Ie.. 35, 37, 40, 42 etc.. And, are there any rubbing problems (if your car is lowered) with the offset you have?

Thanks!

There is a table on page 10-9 in "Technical and consumer information" of your owner's manual where you can find your stock wheel offset. Mine was 16X6.5(40). I've got Enkei RP02 16X7(43) + Toyo T1s tires. Yes, I went with stock size and wasn't disappointed. I was mostly into tires, wheels were secondary to me. I have rubbing problems in one particular case when I'm making sharp turn over bump at front of parking entrance. I actually think that it's my soft third year GLE shocks, not wheels causing this effect.

i'm in the market for wheels and have the same offset questions to avoid rubbing. can the people that have aftermarket rims list the size (including width), tire size and offset. also, if there are cases of rubbing...where does it rub? on the inner fender well or on the outer fender?

As listed in my sig.
Wheels-Konig Tantrums, 17x8, 40 offset
Tires-Bridgestone S03 Pole Position, 245/45/ZR17. The Bridgestone spec chart says 9.1 inches of tread width. These are very "fat" tires compared to the other 245's I've seen and compared them to.
Rubbing-none what so ever. And the car is used to travel with the wife, kids, crammed full of luggage, and a full size spare.
Car is not lowered-YET.
