It is the newest technology as far as limited slips are concerned. It uses helical cut worm gears to differentiate torque between the axles. So you got get the peg leg effect or the one wheel wonder.
Other types of limited slips are the traditional clutch type (oldest)and the viscous coupling (newer than clutch type)
