VQ30 power?

I'm new to the site. I was wondering if anyone has turbo'ed the VQ30 engine in thier 2000-01 max.

there are currently two turboed 2k maximas that i know of. the jwt eibach maxima (5spd) and pmpn-8r (sorry if i spelled it wrong) car (auto) and i guess a few are on it's way

I've read a lot about the stillen sc. but the whine of it is not what i like. and i'm not comfortable with NOS. I used to own a Lotus Elan. And i've grown attatched to the Turbo.

I'd say you'd have to custom fabricate it. We currently do not have any turbo kits avaliable. But it's evidently possible.

You'll end up spending at least $5000 on a custom kit.

if u do it right one can be had for far less than 5k. someone on this forum will be releasing a kit real real soon for about 3k. just wait til late summer. or winter. it still needs to go through its testing phase

Thanks, i think will have to wait for this kit. at the end of the month i will be attending the nissan track day here in honolulu. maybe i could get a look at a turbo'd max there. I'm also going to put my whale (the max) through it's pace's.
