anybody out there got documentation on the TSB for 2k2 maxima?
Dealer charged me $90 for it b/c he said there isn't one out for 2k2
yes I did search, but i haven't see any official documentation for 2k2

o...the service rep said if i could find it, they will give me a refund on that $90.00

same thing happened to me, mine were warped and i took the car in and said there was a TSB they looked at them and said yup they are warped but we're gonna charge you, again i got into a ****ing contest and they wouldn't fix them so i just took the car and didn't have ti done and ordered the big brake kit and it was the best thing i've done. if yuo rotors warped and you have them cut they will just warp again and even soon. they warped the first time for a reaston and now there is even less mass to disperse the heat to and they wil do it again.

 

Ummmm, newsflash: EVERYTHING... Let me repeat EVERYTHING is covered 12k/12m. its the law..

 

surprisingly at Stevens Creek Nissan i'm getting them done at 33K miles!

 

yup....that's the one I went to. Others wont bother to do it or they want to charge that 90 dollar diagnostic fee first.

mine was done @ 23k

job relocation, mostly. i actually grew up here in fremont--went to MSJHS. hehe... we should have a little Fremont meet. it seems like there's a few of us in here living in the blooming metropolitan of fremont... hehehe....

The TSB is ONLY for the 2000 Maxima unless you have an excellent dealer. Of course it doesn't matter if you fit into the 1year/12miles

Kev and Jane are in Hayward....few in San Jose and I think 4 (include us) in Fremont....altima.net is going to have a meet on stevenson this Sunday and they asked us to join.
