Can anyone post a pic of their 6 speed shifter showing how the boot is attached to the ****.

I installed the 2003 shift console but there doesn't seem to be a way to attach the boot to the shifter.

It attaches to a snap on the reverse ring. The 6 speeds have a ring you must pull up on to get over into reverse. I think some other guys have installed them though. Try a search.
