Got my new Frankencar intake with K&N filter sitting on my floor waiting to be installed. I'm waiting because i have a TSB that needs to be done first. My problem is this. When i went in to the service dept. the manager really gave my care the once over and starts making notes. (Tint/wheels/FSTB/RSB/Grille-Tech) I asked what the hell was he writing and he said nothing. He said that he would hope that i'm not thinking about a intake , because that would void warranty. What a f$$king jerk. I am having second thoughts about putting it on now, may not be worth the aggravation. Anybody want a intake for 125.00?

 

they cannot void your warranty for having an intake. if your intake causes your MAF sensor to die and you go back in, then they have cause to void it. ive had my franken and gone to two different dealerships for various thing and have had no problem. check another dealer around you if thats an option.

 

if something happenes, switch back to the stock airbox and then go to the dealer, they can't say that you had the intake installed when it happend because they can't prove it.
