2002 door handles problem?

Hey everyone,

I just have a quick question. Do any of you guys have a scratch problem under your door handles? I have a 2002 Maxima, and I have all these scratches in the door handle inlets. I've looked at other 2002's, and they have them as well. I thought it might just be because of my black paint job, thus making it very noticeable. However my friend's black TL does not experience this at all. Is there anyway I can prevent it.\

Thanks,
George

So far, I haven't had any problems with it. One suggestion though, Do you wash the door handles and under the door handles when u wash/wax ur car? Sometimes the dirt just builds up and that's what scratches the paint.

U put your hands in there all the time, won't take to long to scratch it. Solution = Clear bra

Nail-clippers will work too Cut-em deep.. and if you've got female passengers, be a "gentleman" and open the door for them... this results in fewer scratches and brownie points with the ladies.
