One side HID is brighter than the other
One side HID is brighter than the other
My driver side HID bulb is brighter and more intense than the passenger side HID bulb. When driving, you can't tell one side is brighter than the other, but if you see the reflection in a store window, you can tell the driver's side bulb is a lot brighter. Anyone else have this? I'm wondering if this could be a problem with the ballast or the bulb. I'm hoping it doesn't lead to premature failure of the HID.
after the install, I thought that too.. but it was the aim. I got them dead on and they look the same now. I've also seen that effect in polarized windows. at different angles, they reflect differently. or slight curvature of the window.
past that, check the ground, make sure it hasnt corroded.

It's the angle your looking at it from. You being the driver are looking at the reflection straight back into the driver side headlight.
Go over into the passenger seat and look at the reflection again, I bet suddenly the passenger headlight looks brighter then the drivers side.

Good points, I'll check that. Unfortunately, my friend in the passenger seat agreed that the driver's side HID was definitely brighter, but it's hopefully the aiming issue. I hope it's not a grounding issue since the ground points are hard to get to with the SC piping in the way
