I was wondering if I can run this size tire on my stock 17's. I am looking at rid of the stock potenza's

No I the factory size is 225/50-17 and there aren't any good tires I want. So can I. will I run into any problems

How wide is the stock rim? That will answer your question, I think. If it's 17 x 7, it'll be hard to get 235 on there.

*** I made the dreadful mistake of posting this once also. Yeah, this one has been beat to death.

No. You need a minimum rim width of 7.5 to run the 235/45/17. Sure, they might fit, and even work ok, but you'll be out of spec on stock rims. You can, however, run 235/50/17 on 7" rims.
