Can't the housing be reached from behind the bumper?

I know it may require removing some of that plastic cover material but you should be able to get to it from there.

you have to partially remove the front lip...the fog light housing won't come out if the front lip is on the bumper.

Thats what i was afraid of. I removed the front lip last time i changed my fog light bulbs and it was hell to get back on because of the double sided tape that needed to be stripped off, etc. I was hoping there would be an easier way. mabye there is a way to doctor the metal piece that protrudes from the bottom of the fog lights and gets caught on the front lip. i dont know... but one of my bulbs is out after only being in a month.

that sucks. i didn't know you had to remove and reinstall the front lip. did it look the same after you reinstalled the lip??? that has me thinking twice about putting a front lip on mine when it comes out for 2k2.

It actually looks alot better after i reinstalled the lip. the original installer, maaco, which i DO NOT reccomend, didn't install the front lip very well and it flared out on the sides and didnt stick well. i drilled new mounting holes and used better double stick tape. It's perfect now, but its just such a hassle to do every time a foglight goes out. the part that takes the most time is scrubbing off all that old double stick tape. 2 hours at least just for that. i'll think of something...
