Just picked up my 2001 Maxima GLE today. When I was inspecting the car before driving off the dealer lot, I noticed shreds of paint hanging from underneath the fog lights. I almost lost it. I am going in on Tuesday to get a new bumper. Thinking about putting some kind of inconspicuous mark on the bumper to know whether or not it was replaced. People considering new Maximas might want to watch out for this. I think it happened when they drove it off the truck. It only had 6 miles on it when I left the lot. Other than that, the car is sweet! I can't wait to really drive it this weekend.
