18-8.5 wheels with 245-40-18 any clearence problems

18-8.5 wheels with 245-40-18 any clearence problems

wheels have a offset of 34.will there be any problems with a 245-40.. or should i be on the safe side and get 235-40s.suspension is stock.

Yes, that will rub. I have 18x8.5 +37 wrapped in 245/40/18 and the rears rub. A +40 should clear no problem with that rubber. However, there are other people with shallow offsets and wide or wider rim widths than mine and they don't rub. My car is pretty slammed though on my JIC setup.
