Paint very screwed!

I went to my Nissan bodyshop to see how much the nood would cost to paint. I really dont know how much painting is supposed to cost so here it is!

Hood: 360$ Canadian
Side sill: 120$ a piece if i remove them before hand.

Do you think I should get my car painted at nissan? And the is no damage to any of the areas all there is is paint chips. The reasen im doing this is because my dad thought he would fix the chips by sanding down the areas and painting them! Well now I have a whole bunch of dull spots on my hood and a bunch of globed on paint! I had no idead he was doing this or else I would have stoped him!

Did you go to the front desk of the body shop and talk with the shop manager? if so then just go to the painter in the back directly, pay him to do the job. It will probably cost you about 200 to get it done if you pay him instead of dealing with the body shop manager. I got my stillen kit painted for 150 bucks. its worth a try.

Call the used car managers of your local Infiniti or Acura dealers and find out where they fix their cars. Chances are, that body shop does great work.
