Just Installed PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs Everywhere. Check It Out!!
Click on sig and go to page 11. I installed the bulbs in every nook and crany...except map and sunvisor. Does anyone know if PIAA makes an Xtreme bulb for these two locations and if so what size bulb they take. I can't find them anywhere. Thanks so much.

Awesome job but for future reference, you can change the bulbs in the headlight without having to remove the whole headlight assembly.

Good luck!
Noooo! I don't have them but was in Pep-boys the other day looking at those titanium bulbs 1157/1156 and saw a off-brand multi pack for interior light bulbs.
1) Dome light, 1)Map-light and 2) Door lights all package together??
Did not buy cause was in weird colors - red, green and purple
Hope this helps
Manager didn't know if they where offered in a superwhite

Yea they get real expensive real fast. I'm on my 4th different headlight and third fog....those are bad. Now I jus want a 2k3 Pmas, looks great, can you take a pic of your tails? I always wondered if a different bulb in the brake light area actually made a difference.

Dumb question for the day.
The Xtreme Whites seem to have a blue tint on the bulb. Do they really end up looking close to the white of the HIDs?
I'm thinking of changing the fogs and clearance lights, since I run with them whenever the lights are on, then the high beams later on (don't use them as much.)

I'd like to respond to a few questions/comments that have been posted in this thread:
1) Step2kmax - Thanks for the info on the bulb size for the maps.
2) Chinaonnitrous1 - Yeah, i suppose it is a lot of money on bulbs but it's worth every penny when that sun sets.
3) Y2KSESteve - I didn't change the brake lights in the tails, just the reverse lights. i didnt see the use in changing the brake or blinker light becuase the lens is already coated red and orange so it wouldnt make that much of a difference with new bulbs.
4) T-bone - You like movies too?
5) SkyDaver - There is never a dumb question posted as far as i'm concerned...everyone has to learn. As far as your question, the bulbs are tinted blue but give off a very white looking like. They match up very nicely to the HID's. The only bulbs on my car that give off a slight, and I mean slight tint of blue is the clear corners.
Thanks for all the posts and keep them coming.

When the clearance bulbs are on by themselves, they look a little blue, but when the HIDs are on, they look much closer in color to the HIDs. At least they aren't that light yellow anymore!
Will probably get the fogs next, since they're on with the low beams most of the time.
I've got an idea for a wiring mod on the fogs, too. Will explain in another post, perhaps after I figure out how to do it. Basically involves adding the ability to turn on the fogs independently, and leaving the stock behavior available (which is that they will only go on with the low beams, and will turn off when you turn on the high beams.)
