I find that very hard to beleive, considering that this part (Nissan Part # 22680-31U05) sells for over $400 everywhere I checked.

PS: I'm the one who bought it on eBay.

b/c its cheap when you only buy the "actual" sensor, not the whole thing. When MAF goes bad, the only part you need to replace is the sensor, not the tube.

so you're telling me that a simple piece of 3" plastic tube costs $350 & the actual sensor is only $79??

btw, my sensor is fine, i just needed the "simple piece of 3" plastic tube".

I think that's how nissan wanted it, that's how they make $$$$. BTW, that's only based on what I heard on .org so I don't have actual prove. Maybe someone can confirm this??

I can show you my scanned receipt if you want from DaveB @ TownNorth Nissan. When I told him that why wasn't it over $400+ and he told me that Nissan is aware of the problem with MAFs and that he sold it to me at dealer cost.
