Bug/Rock Shield
Bug/Rock Shield
I've been thinking about getting the bug/rock shield from Greg for some time now. Especially now that I will be get the weatherflectors.
The only two other options that I have are the bra and clear bra right??
The only reason I wounldn't go with the clear bra is because I think u would be able to notice it on a black car. If i had a white maxima i would probably do it because it would probably the clearest on white. Any suggestions??? or opinions???

We had the clear bra on the TL-S (white), you could tell it was on there (it was installed perfectly though), we have the clear bra on the G35 (black)- you can see it on there too. It's a great investment either way. I have the conventional bra for the Max (for road trips) and I'm thinking of trying the magnet bra.
I have the clear bra on my black AE (also on the headlights). It is not very noticable. When the light is just right, you can see the line of it. Otherwise, you don't notice it. It is easy to care for, also. Wash and wax just like the rest of the car. Great protection!!! Sorry I don't have pics.
I tend to disagree, i know i may sound like a broken record saying this all over the place but getting the Carflector was the best $20 i ever spent on the Max.
I have nothing against a regular bra or the Clear bra, but i'm sure if that rock flying at me at 80mph were to hit my hood with either of those two products installed i'd be out several hundred $$$ right now.
The Carflector saved my hood and possibly even my windshield from that rock.
And "lucky me" it did it twice.

Carflector??? never heard of it...what is it...and where could i be able to get it?? is it anything like the weatherflector for the windows because im ordering those as well.
Thanks guys for the info!
John, Carflector is that bug guard we're talking about (If that is what we're talking about
). I'm not 100% sure that the one Greg sells is the same brand, but if it is you can attach it via two methods - Screw or double-sided tape. I used tape and so far it's holding up pretty good (almost a year now).
I can't find the real pic i chopped this sig out of but that thing on the front-end is the carflector.
