Turning radius?

Hey Org. members,
Does anyone know why the SE and GLE modles have a 40' turning radius, while the GXE modle has a 35' turning radius?

Smaller tires. 16" vs. 17"

How would that make a difference? The wheel/tire diameter would still be identical.

It's not the tires.

Do a search and you will find posts stating that there are stops installed in the wheel well area that cause a 3.25 steering wheel lock to lock on the GLE / SE as oposed to the 3.5 on the GXE.

Supposedly this is to stop the tires from rubbing in the well.
