stock HU...anybody else have this problem?

My cd player went out 2 months ago, and as of today I'm still waiting for it to come into the dealer so they can replace it. From what I read before, I think its under national backorder?? Does anyone know about how much longer I have to wait? and is there any way (calling Nissan NA) that I can get it faster? or make nissan to reimburst me so I can get an aftermarket HU?

If you can get a replacement faster then kudos to you, however my experience with it was that i had to wait just over a month for it.

As far as reimbursement's go, since they're replacing it they didn't want to do so with me. It didn't matter if i had to wait as long.

I am at my local nissan dealership now having my new HU installed right now. thankfully they had a couple of them in stock They didnt even check to see if there was a problem with it, they just went ahead and installed a new one.

did they order it for you first? or you just went there and they have it in stock? which dealership? thx

i had big probs with my stock headunit and had to wait weeks to have it replaced then is started with the same problem again and i gave up on it and just got the LCD and all new speakers, BOSE SUCKS, Clarion(headunit maker) SUCKS TOO.
