Zaino Question....
Just ordered Z2 and the Clay Bar. Wanted to know the porper procedure for using the Clay Bar. Will Clay Bar strip my clear coat? Also I have had the car for only a month. Is this to soon to Clay Bar? Thanks for the info in advance...

It is never too early to clay bar. Did you buy the Zaino one? I used the Meguiars and it works similar. Zaino recommends to use the carwash as lube for the claybar. You have to have something or your clay will streak. Here is my recommendation. Use Dawn, Claybar, Dawn, Then Z-2, Z-6, Z-2, Z-6.
Hope this helps and it is definately worth the trouble. I can't wait to put another coat on this weekend of Z-2 and Z-6.

i think it does strip the clear coat. if the clay bar doesn't, the dawn certainly will. if it were my one-month-old car, i'd enjoy the benefits of the factory clearcoat for a while.
after the clear coat starts to wear on its own, then go to town with the bar and waxes... altho i use z-2 and z-5, not z-6
