Best deal on a 2K2 SE Fully Loaded?

What is the best deal that anyone around here has scored lately on a 2K2 6spd. SE fully loaded? I mean everything minus Navi. Saw a 2K3 Sheer Silver SE today on the road and I think I'd like to have and idea of the price on a 2K2. I might just wait until the next generation Max comes out and see what is the best deal that I can get. Please do not post $$$ below invoice, $$$ above cost, $$$$ over my 2K1, etc. Thanx for your help in advance.

I paid $27, 000 for my Maxima fully loaded except the nav w/extended warranty back in Sept 2001. I'm sure you can get one for less than what I paid a year ago.

From what I understand, its hard to get a new fully loaded 2K2, so unless you go for a demo or something used, most dealer lots carry the 2K3's. I picked up my Max this past Tuesday for $26,684 with a trade-in.

I paid a little less than that in March, but not much... leather, bose, etc... everything but nav.

I'd have to look it up if you want the exact number, but it was closer to $26,500 (a few dollars less). I can check if you want. Let me know.

Damnit, I knew I got screwed over!!

Actually, it is a little bit less, but that's cool. And this is for a 2K2(?)

yep, 2k2, leather, meridian, bose, wind deflector, painted mudshields, floor mats... EVERYTHING but nav. It's my first new car in 14 years so I went ape.

It's less than $200. I wouldn't say you got screwed, but I'm still sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Actually, I thought you got everything fully loaded except NAV, with wind deflector and less then $200 off of what I got on my 2K3. Then you would've been the bearer of bad news, but I think I made out ok.

Do what I did; go to carsdirect.com, price out the max through the option packages you want, print it out, and then bring it to the dealer with you and tell them "I can get the car for this price from this site (which I think comes under invoice too?), what can you do for me?" If he/she is not willing to budge anymore then the carsdirect.com price, take a walk and find another dealer. If they are....well, enjoy your new max!

I tried it when i was lookin for a 2000 Maxima, but the thing is if there's no participating dealers that work with carsdirect, they end up possibly referring you to a dealer 50 miles away and further who does.

Don't know about the SE but I picked up my GLE in April for $26,500 with the 3.9APR deal they had going. It's got the side impact air bags too. No navi or heated seats, though. I really like the car -- got a lot of bang for the buck!!!!
