Possible AC problem?

OK, this weekend I am driving and stop and drop off in a driveway. Its hotter than....well hot. Air is crankin. He gets out I leave and then all of a sudden the AC is blowing warm

So thinking I did something, I hit the Recirc button and then turned it right back off and then it started blowing cold again.

This also comes in conjunction with it seems to be either all ON or all OFF. 76 Degrees seems to be the cut off. The fan speed changes but the cold is just ball numbing cold.

BTW, I have the auto climate....

Thoughts?

dunno.. mine did a similar thing last weekend. Stopped blowing cold air, turned off then back on, worked fine. no hiccups since.

probably the compressor clutch.

Stinky A/C

My vents stink. Cruising along, hit MODE button to let in air and it stinks like wet damp dog. Goes away if turn on A/C. Ideas??

There is a wet dog in your vents.

Seriously though, there could be some small dead critter in there.

yeah... I line up next to civics and turn all my vents facing out the passenger window. I rev the car up to 6K and hit the AC, almost instantly freezing them... its a Chill Kill®

Actually, I'm not really too worried. Our pathfinder is about the same (noise wise - rattling clutch) and I've heard a TON of maxes also doing it. It must be so high only dogs, bats and I can hear it cause no one else complains about the sound. I really think its a fluke and not going to be a problem.
