Hey, I've seen 2002's wth the chrome door handles. Does anybody know where to pick those up to swap in on my 2000.

Yup, GXE's and GLE's have chrome door handles. SE's have body colored handles.

something about chrome handles just reminds me of geriatrics or pimps (no offense to either if they are members reading this)...

I also agree that the body colr looks good. But mine is black and I am going to put the titanium window tint and chromme wheels. So I am just debating whether to go with the chrome door handles. I am totally in limbo on it still.

It would be overkill...what tint are you getting? The 'mirror' type or just a metallic? In either case, with the wheels, the 'chrome' window surround strip, and maybe exhaust tips, etc. I think it would still be tasteful...the handles less so...

but it is your ride, do what makes you happy..

I'm one of the seemingly few people on here that likes the chrome trim around the windows on my 2K2. However, I don't really like the chrome handles though.

Take a look at my sig pic chrome wheels black tint look much better on a dark car than chrome door handles, wheels and plantinum tint. The black tint and chrome wheel really bring out the chrome door trim and it just look clean and tight! Your car will look ghetto as hell if you put platinum tint and chrome door handles on it brah seriously. Keep it clean!!!

I agree with you on the black tint...I was leaning towards that bu there is a black 5th gen on custommaxima.com that looks sick withthe mirror tint. So now I can't decide on the tint. But the more I think about it if I did the mirror tint...the door handles would be overkill. And I just don't understand whypeople black out the chrome wimndow trim cause I think it looks tight!

i have 20% titanium tint on my majestic blue, and it looks fresh. get titanium tint that way it matches the rims and tails. chroming the door handles gives it a luxo look. in my book either chrome out everything, or keep it all black. my dads conti is chromed out and it looks awesome.

Wide difference of cars here...

Contis were 'meant' to be chromed out...

Max's weren't...just something wrong with taking the 4DSC and making it look like a land barge..

yeah, tru. max's dont ride like lincolns either. lincolns r good at putting me to sleep when i drive em as opposed to the max which is much more sporty and i can drive for hours in mine without any fatigue.

The ultimate of tackiness to put chrome door trim around the doors and them damn chrome wheel well arches! I hope I never see a Maxima on the org with that **** on there car. I have seen it here in VA and I wanted to just run them off the road and take their keys.

I would really like to see pics of a Majestic Blue Max with Titanium tent
