How do you clean painted brake calipers?

Just spraying them with simple green doesn't seem to work....

i have this tire brush that i use on the caliper with just some simple soap and water.

you don't... just spray paint over the dirt!

that's how Earl Shieb does it.

Get a can of Brake Cleaner from your auto parts store ($3.00). Made especially to remove dust and grease without leaving a residue.
