Injen Cai

for those of u guys that have injen CAI...
i have one question..... are u guys able to remove the piping that goes down to make it into CAI and just put the filter on at the top to make it HAI

reason why i ask is... b/c where i live some part of the year it rains alot...
and wanted to know if i was able to take that piping out and just put the filter at the top during that time....

hope its clear as to what i'm saying...

If you want I can go and take a look at mine to let you know, but seriously unless you plan on driving through a foot of water you should be fine. Undercarriage car washes only barely get it damp and they spray water straight up. I'll go and check mine to see if what you're saying can be done and edit this post, but I dont think you should worry...

cool thanks alot... may be i'm just way to paranoid of this water thing.... i really like the look of INJEN CAI but was also thinking about franken intake due to the water issue...

Like I said its really not much of an issue. I've driven through a couple hard storms with no problems at all.

Get it from Alex at Southwestautoworks.com. He should have them around a week or two for cheapest price on the net.
