Do I splice the red and black wires and tape them to the black and red from the assembly?

You need to figure out the whole wiring system on the lights, dont just go around hooking up stuff and fry the ballast. Use a voltmeter and be smart

I do need to go buy clips now from Nissan as well correct? I just wanted to learn the hookup so I can turn my 9005 highs on, and still have my HID's on.

What wires do I have to splice to hook to each other? Do I hook red to red and black to black?

Also, does the 2k2 assembly fit into the 2000 perfectly? I never measured it exactly.

You are not going to get any answers from these guys...I have tried to get info from this board, but everyone is so paranoid that the people asking these questions are the ones stealing the HID's. I am in the same boat as you, I used a write up that was provided by someone here on the org., and now its gone. I would like to get some info, but from where and who...your guess is as good as mine.

but you gotta admit, if you have purchased stolen merchandise, this is a good way to filter out the ****z! But I am a legit buyer of these (Dave B can verify it...I am the only guy from Calgary that purchased these lights when he offered them a yr ago)...I'm just gonna wait for that certain .org member to send me info when he gets the time.
Peace...big h.

Its a good way to filter it out, but it isn;t going to stop people from doing it.

FBM, the attitude you are getting is because of the comments you made about not caring if they were stolen. Kinda dug your own hole there.

Big h, if you got any questions that arent answered on the BDJ's writeup, you can PM me.

No, I said I can't help if people steal lights. It's not like I can stop them, so I don't worry about it. I'm insured and so is everyone else. We should have enough to worry about. I can't believe no one will help me, thats all.

Hey Bigdog, no worries, i'm just wating for you to send me the info, I'm sorry if i came across ****ed off, but I am soooooo impatient and I bought these damn lights legitimately ! And I wasn't sure if I was on the "HITLIST" because you said you were going to send it and then you didn't (two different times). If you can send me the info whenever you have time, that would be great...I still luv ya! PM me if you can.

Tim, thanks for the offer. Is your write up different from Bigdog's? I need to retrace the wires I hookded up to see which one I mixed up for the DTRL's...If you can help that would be great. PM me if you can.

And any information I recieve from these two fine gentlemen, will not be available to anyone at all. Sorry but that is the deal...so do not bother asking me.

oh.. yeah.. sorry, I remember you asking about the DRLs. I really didnt know what to tell you about those.
You'll just need to make sure the HIDs are getting 12v and the 1/2 voltage DRLs should be on the high beams
