Riding Low

My car has been touching my driveway and hitting my body kit a lot lately when i'm backing out. See pics below how low she is with the AGX and Progress springs. I'm doing a new suspension setup tomorrow to fix this problem.

yep it's even lowered when i have on my 18" with the low profile tires....I'm doing KYB GR2's and Eibachs tomorrow. I got all the parts brand new waiting to do the install as soon i get to borrow some tools from my mechanic buddy. With the progress the ride is hard, even on a low AGX settings. I was gonna use back the AGX and do 4th Gen Eibachs, but the spring rate is stiffer. I found out that the 4th gen is a heavier car, so i will stay with the 5th gen Eibachs. I had sold my Eibachs and now i got new ones that i will used on New GR2's...they are suppose to handle well (nitrogen filled) , but no adjustments..i have had experiences in the past with GR2's on my 93 Maxima with Eibachs...they handle just as good as AGX, but not stiff as AGX when used at a higher settings..besides on my AGX i use # 2 and # 3 settings most of the time to soften the ride in the rear...

read the specs ....http://www.kyb.com/shocks/gr2.html

these babies will work well with my Eibachs..

Velocity-sensitive valving
Multistage valve compression enables the shock to adjust to road conditions automatically. Under gentle road conditions, the valving allows the shock to travel freely for maximum ride comfort. As conditions get rougher, the shock is compressed faster. The valving responds instantly, to make the shock response firmer, maintaining tire contact and vehicle control.

i have been experimenting dude and now i'm doing what best pleases me aight?.either way my car still looks nice. since i can't get the price i wanted for my car, i will not sell it anymore, so i want a smooth and comfortable ride, that's why i have on stock 17" again and now am doing KYB GR2's and Eibachs for a smooth and comfortable ride.....what happen to your coilovers albert? are you still doing them?? or you can't make up your mind on what shocks you want? oh i got a reason also why i switched from 18" to stock 17" i bent one and i am getting back a new one from tirerack, then i will sell them with tires..if i don't get the price i want for them, i will keep them to use in the summer time...are you interested in my 18"?

the AGX with most aftermarket or OEM springs will be the best setup for most people, but am looking for a particular ride quality(not the best), but will not be too low like what i have now (agx and progress) and read the specs on the GR2's. These are direct replacements for OEM springs, but will work good on Eibachs too and handles as good as the agx, EXCEPT there is no adjustments. both the AGX and GR2's are nitrogen charged, but the AGX on #3 settings or higher in the rear is too hard for me in NYC area. for me no prob, but people in the backseat bouncing all over..too stiff

i hate to take out my AGX, but no spring suites me with them. with my new install tomorrow everything will be ligit with no slashing or modificatins to fix. all of them engineered to fit with no probs, thus this will eliminate any wheel aligment probs..

5th gen KYB GR2's + 5th Gen Eibachs.
