URGENT (Car Apart) Need Some Sensor Info for 2K2
Ok, this post is related to another post already going regarding an engine problem with my 2K2 Max:
2K2 Engine Problem
I need to know if anyone has the part numbers for the two Camshaft Position Sensors and/or the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Or a confirmation of the wiring hookups to the sensors.
Here is how they are setup on my car:
The Bank 2 camshaft sensor (nearest to the radiator) has its electrical connection sticking straight up (towards the breather hose) and angled slightly towards the driver's side fender.
The Bank 1 camshaft sensor (nearest to the firewall) has it's electrical connection sticking straight out of it (pointed directly towards the driver's side fender). The key information here is that the electrical connector push-in release clip is situated on the bottom of the sensor.
The crankshaft sensor is mounted on the front of the 6 speed tranny, and faces the radiator near the bottom of the transmission (below and to the left of the starter motor). It's electrical connector is pointing straight forward, towards the radiator. The key information here is that the electrical plug release is situated on the left side of the sensor, near the mounting bolt.
The Bank 1 camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor look nearly identical from the outside with the exception of how the electrical plugs release from them. It would be VERY easy to reverse these two . . .
I have the car in pieces at the moment, so any help would really, really be appreciated.
