14.12 New Na Record?

I went to the track tonight with my brother. We tried out a new track that is 2 hours from our house but it was well worth it:

R/T: .758
60': 2.216
1/8: 9.147 @ 78.61mph
1/4: 14.128 @ 97.67mph

I also ran alot of 14.3s and some 14.4s. My car & mods is in the sig.

I beat the fastest "import" at the track that night. I was an SVT contour. He was trying to pull his car off as stock, but he was trapping at 100mph, so I figured he probably had a 75shot.

Also, my brother ran a 15.09 in his STOCK SpecV

Good job... gotta love the sub 70 degree weather

The intake and wheels might help.

i would say a 14.12 beats a 14.17

great job! How did you get your 60' down so low on stock tires? What psi were you running?

if you look in my sig, i have aftermarker rims, so it goes to show i have aftermarker tires also.
I have some fresh falken azenis put on (245/45/17); which means I have some room to improve on my time. I should be hitting 2.1 60ft's, but the track was rather slippering last night.

This goes to show that with your lighter wheels=less rolling mass=quicker times!! With a 2.1 you shoud be in the 13 sec club. Great job.

Nice time.

That SpecV is pretty fast, 15.0 is a great time.

The race to 13's NA is getting very interesting

Your 14.12 is a great run, congratulations.

When you say stock SpecV do mean bone dead stock? Because he was so close to hitting 14's, it won't take him much to get there!

Awesome runs for you both. I'm kind of surprised at your trap, I was thinking it might be 99-100. Anyway, if you get to 13's before some of the other guys on here you're the NA king. Good luck!

yep, he even forgot to take his spart tire out. So it was truely bone stock.

Ennis is the track close to us that sucks.
we drove 2 1/2 hours out to hallsville tx; the next closest 1/4 track.

Let me know next time you guys go down there. I would love to go. I am in Dallas.

BTW, there is a quarter mile track between Dallas and Ft Worth. If you guys are interested in going, I can get you directions.

That's pretty impressive for a Spec V!! It's almost as quick as my buddy's RSX-S (which ran a 15.044-AEM CAI with 17" OZ wheels)
